Adelaide publicity professional Libby Parker (Music SA, Adelaide Festival) is running a PR course for beginners on Wednesday 11 December to help you promote your business, band or brand.

Designed for event planners, artists and small business operators on a budget, DIY PR will send participants home with a new skill set and resources to give their product or production a plug.

Libby, a qualified journalist, publicist and teacher will show participants how to write a media release, come up with catchy tag-lines and how to use images to snag a story.

“Publicity can seem like a daunting undertaking, but with the right skills, resources and connections, it opens up a whole new world for your business, product, launch or event,” Libby says.

“I want to give businesses, bands, brands, artists and entrepreneurs the confidence to sell themselves and pitch the perfect story to the press.”
