During the Adelaide school holidays Expressions Media ran a series of workshops in journalism, scriptwriting, drama and craft. We had fantastic groups of young people from all across South Australia come to join us and be creative together.
Press Club for Kids created their own news bulletin, a radio broadcast, and they even interviewed renowned Adelaide Creative Producer Lucy Rasheed about her production Seastar Rock.
From Page to Stage comprised two workshops for older and younger potential playwrights and we wrote and performed plays together. There were many laughs, a few tears (emotional content!) and some incredibly inspiring ideas.
Finally, we topped off a fantastic school holiday program with Words and Pictures where we looked at poetic techniques and then created beautiful canvasses with words and colours to take home and treasure.
