BREAKING NEWS: If you’re aged 7-12 with a keen interest in media (writing, photography and radio), this Adelaide school holiday workshop is for you!

Learn from journalist Libby Parker and photojournalist Nat Rogers to discover the ins and outs of media. Have your work published on Adelaide online news outlet Upside News, upload your photos to your story and record your radio interviews.

Spread over three days, due to popular demand, you can choose to come to one of the workshops or get a discounted rate for booking all three. Join Libby to gain skills in interviewing, writing news for print, online, radio and TV, and learn the basics in photojournalism from Nat Rogers.

Libby Parker is a published journalist who has written for The Advertiser, Sunday Mail, Barker Mag, Salisbury Aware, Upside News, BSide Mag, Rip it Up and more. She writes scripts for cinema and radio advertising, is a professional writer and has a weekly breakfast radio show on Three D 93.7.

Libby is a qualified, registered English, Drama and Media teacher with experience spanning two decades in teaching, theatre direction and professional writing.

 

Adelaide School Holiday workshopsNat Rogers is a South Australian editorial and commercial photographer. She currently photographs editorial assignments for magazines both locally and internationally.

Nat has worked for NewsCorp and independent news for nine years covering politics and business for much of the last decade. Nat has been a been a working photographer since 2005 and currently runs workshops for children and adults.
